APC Cabinet

Technical requirements and configuration of the cabinet

Technical requirements:

Server cabinets have requirements for depth, height, load-bearing, etc. The conventional heights are 47U, 42U, 37U, 32U, 27U, 22U, 18U; the widths are 800mm, 600mm; the depths are 800mm, 900mm, 960mm, 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm.

Cabinet configuration:

It can be configured with: special fixed tray, special sliding tray, power strip, casters, supporting feet, cable management rings, cable organizers, L brackets, cross beams, vertical beams, fan units, and the cabinet frame, upper frame, lower frame, front door, rear door, left and right side doors can be quickly disassembled and assembled.

Fixed tray: used to install various equipment, with various sizes and wide applications, including 19″ standard pallets, non-standard fixed pallets, etc. The depth of conventional fixed pallets includes 450mm, 550mm, 650mm, 710mm, 750mm and other specifications. The load-bearing capacity of fixed pallets is not less than 50KG.

Sliding tray: used to install keyboards and other equipment, can be easily pulled out and pushed back; 19″ standard sliding tray is suitable for any 19″ standard cabinet. The depth of the conventionally configured sliding tray is 450mm, 550mm, 650mm, 710mm, 750mm and other specifications. The load-bearing capacity of the sliding tray is not less than 20KG.

Power strip: Suitable for 10A national standard power plug, can be directly installed on the cabinet installation volume. Specifications: 6 sockets. Parameters: ~220V, 10Amp.

Cable management ring: Use the built-in cable management device and install it on the cabinet vertical beam. It is very convenient to install and remove, and the number and position of use can be adjusted at will.

L bracket: The L bracket can be used with a cabinet to install standard equipment in the cabinet, mainly for installing rack-mounted servers.

Blind panels: Blind panels are used to cover the empty space in a 19″ standard cabinet and are available in 1U, 2U, and other specifications. Conventional blind panels are available in 1U and 2U.

Crossbeam and vertical beam: Mainly used to expand the installation space in the cabinet, can be freely adjusted according to the size of the equipment. Very convenient to install and disassemble.

Mounting nuts (square nuts): used for mounting all equipment in the cabinet, including most of the cabinet’s accessories.

Keyboard drawer: For mounting a standard computer keyboard, suitable for computer keyboards. The keyboard drawer must be used in conjunction with the sliding tray.

Fan unit: It is installed on the top of the cabinet and is used to exhaust air inside the cabinet. This effectively reduces the temperature inside the cabinet and makes the equipment operate better.

Rack-mounted fan unit: 1U in height, can be installed at any height in a standard cabinet, and can be configured according to the heat source in the cabinet.

Mesh front door: The mesh door effectively solves the heat dissipation problem of the equipment in the cabinet, making the equipment in the cabinet operate better. The ventilation area of the conventional mesh door ventilation holes is not less than 70% of the cabinet door area, which can provide the best horizontal air circulation.

Network cabinets include server cabinets, and are also used to combine installation panels, plug-ins, plug-in boxes, electronic components, devices and mechanical parts and components to form an integrated installation box. Network cabinets are mainly used in wiring projects, storing routers, switches, monitors, wire racks, etc., and are used more in projects. Generally speaking: the depth of a network cabinet is less than or equal to 800mm, while the depth of a server cabinet is greater than or equal to 800mm. Network cabinets should be easy to produce, assemble, debug, and package and transport. Server cabinets should meet the requirements of standardization, specification, and serialization. The cabinets are beautiful, practical, and color-coordinated.
