UPS Power Installation Process Specification (Part 2)

2. Installation process

Firstly, before installation, it is necessary to clarify the operating environment. When choosing the installation location, it is best to have a separate room without conductive impurities and equipped with air conditioning. The operating environment should be clean, dry, and appropriate protective measures should be taken. At the same time, the air should be free of dust and corrosive gases. Of course, in the normal operation of the system, air circulation should also be maintained. Therefore, during installation, the installation environment should meet the following conditions. Operating with relative humidity, no condensation, and operating temperature within the range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.

Secondly, the cabinet should be unpacked and installed, and the damage should be checked at this time. When inspecting the packaging, it is necessary to check for any damage or incorrect packaging. Once there is damage, it should be replaced promptly. When unpacking, the model on the front door should be checked to ensure it matches the model ordered. And it is necessary to record the model data for future use.

Thirdly, specific paths should also be planned, and all channels should be able to withstand the weight of the cabinet passing through. Therefore, during this process, it is necessary to inspect corridors, elevators, and slopes to see if there are any blind spots or other phenomena. At the same time, after placing the power supply in place, it should also be checked whether there are any other items inside the cabinet.

Fourthly, after the installation of the UPS battery system, the total voltage of the battery system and the open circuit voltage of individual batteries, as well as their positive and negative polarities, should be carefully checked.

Fifth, when connecting the battery to the charging device or load, the circuit switch should be in the disconnected position to ensure that the positive and negative poles are connected correctly.

Sixth, check whether the battery management parameters in the switch power monitoring unit are consistent with those in this manual.

3. Precautions for use

(1) Do not use UPS uninterruptible power supply beyond the rated load;

(2) UPS power equipment is equipped with a large capacity battery, and non professionals are not allowed to open the casing, otherwise there may be a risk of electric shock; (3) If the machine is smoking, please quickly cut off the power supply;

(4) In case of a fire around, please use dry powder fire extinguishers. There is a risk of electric shock when using liquid fire extinguishers;

(5) Please place the UPS power supply mains input socket near the UPS uninterruptible power supply equipment so that the mains input plug can be unplugged and the power can be cut off in case of emergency. Installing and using UPS power supply is also a subject of knowledge. Improper operation may cause UPS power supply failure or even personal safety, so it is necessary to follow the guidance of relevant personnel for installation and use.
