The “sleep” function of Schneider UPS power system

The ‘sleep’ mode of a computer is an energy-saving working mode in which the Windows operating system temporarily does not use any unnecessary components, such as the display screen and disk drives. When waking up the computer from hibernation, all open applications and documents will be restored. In fact, UPS power supply also has this function. To solve the problem of saving system information when Schneider UPS power is about to be consumed, the “sleep” function of the system needs to be enabled first. The method is as follows:

1. Click on “Start → Control Panel → Performance and Maintenance → Power Options” in sequence.

2. Click on the “Sleep” tab and select the “Enable Sleep” checkbox. If the ‘Sleep’ tab is not available, it means that the computer does not support this feature.

3. Click “OK” to close the “Power Options” dialog box.

This way, the sleep mode of Schneider UPS power supply can be turned on/off. Understanding the “sleep” function of SMARTUPS power supply can provide great help to users when using UPS power supply (some machines of Schneider UPS power supply have this function)
