UPS control ESXI power on/off

UPS power supply is a third-generation power frequency pure online intelligent UPS developed with new digital technology to meet the reliability requirements of China’s power grid environment, network monitoring, network systems, medical systems, etc., and overcome the increasingly harsh power grid environment caused by centralized power supply of medium and large computer network systems. DC power supply is a device that maintains a constant current in a circuit. Such as dry batteries, rechargeable batteries, DC generators, etc. So what should be noted when using UPS power supply?

Nine precautions for using UPS power supply

1. A certain margin should be left in the selection of UPS power supply, such as 5kVA or above for a 4kVA load.

2. UPS power supply should avoid frequent startup and shutdown, and it is best to keep it on for a long time.

3. Newly purchased UPS power supplies should be charged and discharged to extend the lifespan of the UPS battery. Generally, constant voltage charging is used, and the initial charging current should not exceed 0.5 * C5A (C5 can be calculated based on the rated capacity of the battery). The voltage of each battery should be controlled between 2.30~2.35V to avoid damaging the battery. If the charging current remains unchanged for 3 consecutive hours, it proves that the battery is sufficient. Generally, the charging time is 12-24 hours.

4. If the machine continues to use electricity normally, the UPS power supply will not have the opportunity to work. The battery may be damaged during long-term float charging, so it is necessary to regularly charge and discharge the UPS power supply. This not only activates the battery, but also checks whether the UPS power supply is in normal working condition.

5. Regularly check the UPS power supply and check the float charging voltage once a month. If the float charging voltage is lower than 2.2V, the entire battery pack should be charged evenly.

6. Regularly wipe the battery with a soft cloth to keep the surface clean.

7. Temperature control during the operation of UPS power supply, to control the temperature range within 20 ℃~25 ℃ during the operation of UPS power supply, in order to extend the service life of UPS power supply battery. Temperature control of UPS power supply is particularly important in environments without air conditioning.

8. UPS power supply should be charged immediately after use to restore the battery to its normal state,

9. The distance between the external battery pack and the UPS power supply should be as short as possible, and the cross-sectional area of the wire should be as large as possible to increase the conductivity of the wire and reduce the power loss on the line. Especially during high current operation, the loss on the line cannot be ignored.
