With the development of the data center industry, security issues in data centers are also highly valued, and batteries have become a focus of attention. 1. Causes of battery failure
The first issue is quality. When there is a battery leakage in the battery pack and the leaked electrolyte flows to the battery rack, a short circuit will form between the battery packs, causing accidents. If there is a micro short circuit battery in the battery pack, the voltage of the micro short circuit battery will quickly drop when the battery is discharged, resulting in insufficient backup time.
2. Issues with usage and maintenance
When a power outage occurs, the battery plays an emergency power supply role. In the event of a power outage during its lifecycle, the battery must always be in normal condition. If the battery cannot discharge during a power outage, the consequences will be very serious. Therefore, the battery must be kept in a healthy and usable state to ensure the power supply safety of the data center.
