The maintenance of batteries is essential. No matter how they are maintained, it is necessary to promptly detect abnormal faults in the battery or equipment system faults that affect the charging and discharging performance of the battery, actively take corrective measures, and ensure the stable and reliable operation of the power system. The inspection and maintenance of batteries are divided into daily maintenance, quarterly maintenance, and annual maintenance.
1. Daily maintenance
Ensure that the surface of the battery is clean and dry; Regularly pay attention to the environmental temperature of the battery system and changes in the appearance of the battery; Regularly check the online float charging voltage of the battery and the float charging voltage of the battery pack, compare them with the panel display, and correct them if necessary to ensure the cleanliness, ventilation, or good lighting of the battery cabinet or battery room.
2. Quarterly maintenance
Check the cleanliness of the outer surface of the battery, the integrity of the shell and cover, and record the ambient temperature of the battery system at a unified testing point every quarter. When the temperature is lower or higher, adjust the float charging voltage. Measure and record the total float charging voltage at the battery end, compare it with the displayed value on the panel meter, and promptly identify and correct any differences.
Record the float charge voltage of each battery in the system, fluctuate within a certain range, identify any abnormalities, correct the cause, conduct a recovery discharge test, discharge with a false load or actual load, cut off the power supply, and use a battery for power supply. After the battery capacity is low, evenly charge the battery and replace the battery with the one with the low capacity.
