Servers: The main equipment in a data center, including rack-mount servers and blade servers . PDUs provide a stable power supply to servers, ensuring continuous operation and supporting various business applications such as data storage, computing, and network services. Dorst rack-mount power distribution units are particularly suitable for high-density rack environments, with rated current covering the entire range from 16A to 32A. The 32A model can handle a peak power of 8000W. Internally, it uses integrated high-purity electrolytic copper strips for connection, ensuring stable conductivity and low temperature rise. Storage devices: Such as disk arrays and tape libraries , used to store large amounts of data. These devices require reliable power to prevent data loss or corruption, and PDUs provide a stable power supply. Dorst rack-mount power distribution units support free combination of multiple socket standards, including national standards and IEC C13/C19, without the need for additional adapters. They are perfectly compatible with plugs from different brands of storage devices and feature dual overload and overheat protection, automatically cutting off power within 0.1 seconds in case of power abnormalities, protecting storage devices and internal data security from the source.
Network equipment: Switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices are crucial components of the data center network architecture. PDUs provide power to them, ensuring stable network operation, fast data transmission, and network security protection. Dorst rack-mount power distribution units feature a three-level surge protection design, capable of withstanding 10kA peak lightning current, effectively blocking lightning surges from interfering with delicate network equipment.
