System functions
Monitoring/monitoring functions
Traditional computer room management uses a system of daily scheduled inspections, such as one inspection in the morning and one in the evening, and some core operating parameters of the equipment are manually recorded and archived. The data obtained in this way is limited to a specific period of time, and the work is monotonous and labor-intensive. The real-time monitoring function of the computer room environment monitoring system can solve this problem.
The system has the so-called “four remote” functions of remote signaling, remote measurement, remote control and remote adjustment, which can centrally monitor and manage the entire system to achieve the goal of less-manned or unmanned operation.
The system can collect the operating parameters, working status and alarm information of each device in real time. This system can monitor intelligent and non-intelligent equipment and accurately realize the four remote functions of remote signaling, remote measurement, remote control and remote adjustment. That is, it can not only truly monitor the various working states and operating parameters of the monitored on-site object equipment, but also remotely control the monitored on-site objects conveniently as needed, and remotely modify the parameters of on-site objects with configurable operating parameters.
The system sets up control operation permissions at all levels. If necessary and authorized, system administrators can configure system monitoring objects, personnel permissions, etc.; system operators on duty can remotely control or adjust relevant equipment to handle related events or adjust the working status of equipment to ensure that the equipment in the computer room operates in the best condition.
Alarm function
a) Regardless of the interface of the monitoring system console, the system shall automatically prompt the alarm, display and print the alarm information in a timely manner. All alarms shall use visible, audible, sound and light alarm signals.
b) Different levels of alarm signals should use different display colors and alarm sounds. Emergency alarms are marked with flashing red, important alarms are marked with flashing pink, and general alarms are marked with flashing yellow.
c) When an alarm occurs, the maintenance personnel shall confirm the alarm. If it is not confirmed within the specified time (determined by the communication line conditions), the relevant personnel can be automatically notified by phone or mobile phone according to the set conditions. After the alarm is confirmed, the sound and light alarm should stop, and the sound and light alarm function should be triggered again when a new alarm occurs.
d) It has concurrent alarm functions for multiple locations and multiple events, with no loss of alarm information and an alarm accuracy rate of 100%.
e) The system can shield and filter alarms that do not require a response.
f) The system can query, count and print various historical alarm information as needed. Various alarm information cannot be changed anywhere.
g) In addition to the alarm function for the monitored objects, the system can also perform self-diagnosis (for example, system power failure, communication line interruption, etc.), and can intuitively display the fault content, so that the system is stable and has stable self-protection capabilities.
h) The system has the function of convenient and fast alarm query and processing according to user requirements.
i) System alarms can be configured according to different requirements, such as alarm level, alarm shielding, alarm threshold, etc.
j) It has an electronic closed-loop dispatching function, realizing the entire fault handling process of dispatching, receiving, maintaining, duplicating and canceling orders.
Configuration management features
a) When the system is initially built, or when equipment is changed or added or reduced, system management and maintenance personnel can use the configuration function to configure the system to ensure that the configuration parameters are consistent with the actual equipment conditions.
b) When there are personnel changes among the system on-duty personnel or system management and maintenance personnel, the configuration function can be used to grant corresponding authorization to the relevant personnel.
c) When the system is running, system management and maintenance personnel can also use the system configuration function to configure the operating parameters of the monitoring system to ensure that the monitoring system runs efficiently and accurately.
d) System management and maintenance personnel can also use the system configuration function to configure the display mode, position, size, color, etc. of device parameters to achieve the effect of beautifying the interface.
e) The configuration management operation is simple, convenient, and has good scalability. It can be configured online without interrupting the normal operation of the system.
f) The monitoring system has remote monitoring and management functions, which can configure and modify on-site parameters centrally or remotely.
g) The system is configured by area and by profession, and displayed by area and by profession.
Security management functions
a) The system provides multi-level passwords and multi-level authorizations to ensure the security of the system; the system records all operations for future reference; and the system manages the handover of on-duty personnel;
b) The monitoring system has equipment operation records, which include the operator’s employee number, name of the operated equipment, operation content, operation time, etc.
c) The monitoring system records the operator’s login and logout times.
d) The monitoring system must be fault-tolerant and must not cause errors, exit or crash due to user misoperation.
e) The monitoring system has the function of self-diagnosis of its own hardware failures, communication failures between monitoring levels, and software operation failures, and gives alarm prompts.
f) The system has the function of automatic start-up upon incoming call.
g) The system has system data backup and recovery functions.
Report management function
a) The system can provide query, reporting, statistics, classification, printing and other functions of all equipment operation history data, statistical information, shift logs, repair work orders and curve charts for power supply operation and maintenance personnel to analyze and study.
b) The system also has the function of user-defined reporting.
c) This system can manage the information related to the monitored equipment, including various technical indicators, prices, factory dates, operating conditions, maintenance and repair conditions, equipment installation and wiring diagrams, etc. It can collect, display and record the status and operation data of each monitoring point in the computer room within the jurisdiction, and provide comprehensive information query services for management personnel.
