The UPS manufacturer will provide users with complete and detailed UPS installation requirements and precautions. Only by meeting these requirements can the UPS power supply system work properly. In practical applications, engineers can send relevant parameters to customers based on the actual situation of the UPS to be installed, so that customers can construct according to this requirement.
Installation environment requirements
Temperature: 0 ℃~+40 ℃
Relative humidity: 30%~90%
Altitude: Below 1000M, above this altitude, the usage will be reduced by 10% for every 1000M.
The installation environment size requirement is to be at least 800mm larger than the front, rear, left, right, and upper dimensions of the chassis to facilitate heat dissipation and daily maintenance;
Floor stress requirement: 1500 kilograms per square meter.
Proper indoor temperature is required: operate in an indoor environment of 0-40 ℃, but the temperature during opening should be higher than 0 ℃, with the ideal operating temperature being 25 ℃.
Installation requirements
(1) The equipment placement site should be a horizontal hard ground. If it is an anti-static activity floor, the load-bearing capacity of the floor should be considered, and steel brackets should be designed and manufactured according to the weight of the equipment. The site should have access to all necessary services, especially light, electricity, and good ventilation. During installation, users are required to prepare a cable laying trench in advance, with a depth of about 4Ocm. When users use the cable tray cable laying method, they should choose UPS models with upper inlet and upper outlet cables.
(2) The positioning site should be free of dust, especially conductive dust, as it may cause a short circuit in the internal circuit of the equipment and affect the reliable operation of the UPS. At the same time, the venue should not have or be close to heat sources to ensure the environmental conditions specified by the equipment.
(3) For the convenience of operation, equipment maintenance, and equipment heat dissipation, at least 50-100cm of space should be left around the equipment cabinet, and 1000cm of space should be left at the top. When designing the cooling and ventilation system for the computer room, consideration should be given to the heat generated by the UPS equipment.
(4) The working environment temperature requirement is between 0-35 ℃, with an optimal temperature of around 25 ℃. The optimal humidity is between 30% and 70%.
(5) After completing the installation and wiring of the equipment, do not rush to power on and start up. Instead, open the main cabinet and conduct a physical status check on all components.
