Functional analysis of the main components of SANTAK UPS power supply
The structure of UPS power supply mainly includes the following parts:
1.Rectifiers: Rectifiers are devices that convert alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). Its main functions include:
(1)Convert AC power into DC power, filter it and supply it to the load, or supply it to the inverter.
(2)Provide charging voltage to the battery and act as a charger.
2.Battery: A battery is a device used by UPS to store electrical energy, usually consisting of several batteries connected in series. Its main functions include:
(1)When the mains power is normal, convert electrical energy into chemical energy and store it inside the battery.
(2)In the event of a power failure, convert chemical energy into electrical energy and provide it to the inverter or load.
3.Inverter: An inverter is a device that converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic, and filtering circuit, and its main function is to convert DC power into AC power to supply to the load.
4.Static switch: A static switch is a contactless switch composed of two thyristors connected in reverse parallel, used to achieve automatic switching of power supply. It is divided into two types: conversion type and parallel type, which are respectively used for two-way power supply systems and parallel inverters with mains power or multiple inverters.
