How to calculate the power supply time of Schneider UPS
How to calculate the power supply time of APC Schneider UPS uninterruptible power supply? This is a question that many customers who want to purchase APC Schneider UPS uninterruptible power supply must consider. Actually, this calculation method is not very complicated. Let’s explain how it is calculated below:
1. Calculate the required power at the input end. The efficiency of a small UPS is 60%, so the input power is: 100 ÷ 60% ≈ 166.7VA.
2. Calculate the input DC current. If two 12V 24Ah batteries are connected in series as 24V, the input DC current is 166.7 (VA) ÷ 24 (V) ≈ 6.9A
3. Calculate the power supply time. 24 (ah) ÷ 6.9 (A) ≈ 3.5 (hours).
Result: Using a 200VAUPS connected to two 12V 24ah batteries, it can provide approximately 3.5 hours of operation for a 100W appliance.
