How to replace the built-in battery of APC power supply BX650
As is well known, lead-acid batteries have a limited lifespan, especially small capacity batteries, with a lifespan of only 2-3 years. However, APC UPSÂ power supplies typically have a lifespan of 7-8 years, which means that the battery pack may need to be replaced during APC UPSÂ use. Firstly, determine the warranty period (the warranty starting point for APC is determined based on the invoice date or factory date plus 18 months). 1.Determine the maintenance plan

2. Purchase batteries

3. Replace
Call APC customer service and say that this battery is difficult to replace. But is it really like this? Obviously, this is a big scam, probably because users are afraid of safety accidents if they replace it themselves. Actually, changing the battery is really simple
Turn off the UPS, cut off the mains power, disconnect the yellow built-in battery plug behind the UPS, remove the two screws on the bottom front panel of the UPS, push the panel down and remove it, cut off the positive and negative wires and connecting wires, and remove the old battery. Insert the new battery and reinstall it in reverse order.
