Safety installation requirements for APC UPS batteries

1. The battery must be installed in dedicated indoor areas such as doors, windows, walls, wooden frames, ventilation equipment, etc., which must be coated with acid resistant paint for protection. The floor must be paved with acid resistant bricks and maintained at a certain temperature. There should be an upper and lower drainage system indoors.

2. The battery room should be kept tight, and the glass on doors and windows should be frosted glass or coated with white paint.

3. The installation location of lighting fixtures should consider easy maintenance, and the wires or cables used should have acid resistant lamps and switches.

4. Heating equipment indoors is not allowed to have flange connections or valves.

5. The air duct should be equipped with a filter screen and have an independent ventilation duct.

6. Charging devices shall not be located in battery rooms.

7. The installation of a fixed open type lead-acid battery wooden stand should meet the requirements.
