Experience in using UPS Power Supply

The use of UPS power supply can solve two problems, that is, in case of unexpected power outage and poor quality of mains power, UPS power supply can provide timely power supply, ensuring normal operation and work efficiency.

The two main functions of UPS are:

1. Emergency use: To prevent accidental power outages from affecting normal work.

2. Daily use: Eliminate power pollution such as surges, momentary high voltage, momentary low voltage, wire noise, and frequency offset on the mains power, improve power quality, and provide high-quality power.

For these two major functions, you can learn from some experience in using UPS

1. Overloading may cause deep discharge of the battery, which over time can reduce its lifespan.

2. Proper discharge helps activate the battery. If the mains power is not cut off for a long time, it is necessary to manually disconnect the mains power and discharge the UPS with load every three months to extend the battery life.

3. Most small UPS should be turned on during work, and avoid starting with load when starting up. UPS should be turned off after work; For the UPS in the network server room, it can operate 24/7.

4. Do not carry sensory loads such as cash counters, fluorescent lamps, air conditioners, etc., to avoid damage. The optimal output load control is around 60%, with the highest reliability.
