UPS power supply, also known as uninterruptible power supply, can provide high stability switch power circuit maintenance for users’ servers, large and small wireless LANs, large, medium and small computer rooms, and other precision machining instruments and mechanical equipment. The main functions and roles of the UPS switching power supply circuit are shown as follows:
1. The voltage regulator function of the system. The voltage regulator function of the system is carried out by electronic rectifiers, which use controllable silicon or high-frequency switch electronic rectifiers. They have the function of controlling the output amplitude according to changes in external power, so that when the external power causes a transition (which should meet the system requirements), the output amplitude is mostly consistent with the working standard voltage of the electronic rectifier.
2. Stable output power efficiency. The stabilizing effect of output power is carried out by the inverter circuit, and the frequency stability depends on the reliability level of the fluctuation frequency of the inverter circuit.
3. Purification function. The purification treatment is carried out by the energy storage battery, and the momentary pulse cannot be eliminated by the dry electronic rectifier. The working standard voltage after the electronic rectifier still has pulses. In addition to the function of storing DC regulated power, energy storage batteries are like connecting a large capacity low-voltage capacitor to an electronic rectifier. The capacity specification of the closed circuit is directly proportional to the capacity specification of the energy storage battery. Due to the fact that the working standard voltage on both sides of power capacitors cannot be changed, the application of low-voltage capacitors eliminates pulses with their smooth characteristics, providing a cleaning solution.
4. Control function of the main power switch. The system is equipped with work switches, host self checks, automatic bypass switches after faults, maintenance bypass switches, and other switch controls.
