APC UPS

What issues should be noted when using the UPS power system?

The UPS power system server does not have high temperature requirements for the natural environment, and is working normally from 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. However, the room must be cleaned to reduce dust. Otherwise, if dust and internal moisture are added, the UPS switch power server is likely to not function properly. Energy storage technology batteries have very high temperature requirements for natural environments, with a standard application temperature of 25, generally ranging from 15 to 30 cannot exceed.

1. The UPS power system server does not have high temperature requirements for the natural environment and works normally from 5 to 40 degrees Celsius, but the room must be cleaned to reduce dust. If dust and internal moisture are not present, it is highly likely that the UPS switch power server will not function properly. Energy storage technology batteries have very high temperature requirements for natural environments, with a standard application temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, generally ranging from 15 to 30 degrees Celsius; Cannot exceed. The temperature is too low, and the storage battery charger decreases. For every 1 decrease in temperature, the volume will decrease by 1%. The charge discharge capacitance increases with the increase of temperature, and the service life decreases. If applied under continuous high temperature for a long time, the number of battery cycles will decrease by about half every time the temperature is high.

2.The technical parameters set on the switch power server cannot be changed arbitrarily throughout the application process. Especially the main parameters of the battery pack immediately affect its service life, but due to changes in natural environmental temperature, it is necessary to adjust the diving working voltage accordingly. Generally speaking, with a standard of 25, the working voltage of the float must increase by 18mV every time the natural ambient temperature rises or falls by 1 (compared to a 12V battery).

3.According to application regulations, the output power capacity of the UPS power system is not large to prevent the arbitrary addition of high-power additional machinery and equipment during application, or to prevent long-term operation at full load. However, depending on the different characteristics of work, UPS power systems operate almost without interruption, and the high power load increases. Running at almost full capacity will cause common server failures, and in more serious cases, the converter is likely to be damaged.

4. Sudden power outages not only pose significant risks to equipment hardware configuration, but also continue to harm business operations. Fortunately, at that time, managers were all working. In order to restore the operation of the machine equipment as soon as possible, the first attempt was made to restart the UPS, which had already been successful and running normally. However, with the continuous beeping, checking UPS maintenance shows that the cause of the problem indicated by this buzzing sound – UPS load – can be identified. It seems that applying UPS also requires diligent behavior, and the next step for everyone is to solve the problem by increasing the UPS capacity.
